Our Approach
Our History - Moving Earth Since 1945
Our construction business began in 1945 when E.L. Pete Thomas decided to start moving earth. He took on projects to help our State and Nation grow in the years after WWII. Many of these projects were for the US Army Corp of Engineers.
Our company is a family operated business that has grown over the years and is now employing its fourth generation. The Thomas Team includes Donnie, Loy Jr., Tim, Jeremy, and Logan, and the company is currently managed by Pete's grandson Tim.

Our Reputation
For over 70 years, we’ve been known as a smaller company capable of larger, more complex projects. We remain this way so we can be personally involved with each project. The founders of our firm believed in one thing… “Do what you say you’re going to do.” That is still at our core today. For many of our clients, their project was the largest they had ever undertaken. They needed a contractor who assisted in most steps along the way. We know that attention to detail on your project is the best customer service we can offer. We team with owners and design groups to assist with the vision of the project while working within the owner’s budget limitations. The three constants for any project are staying within the targeted budget, completing the work on time, and delivering a desired level of quality. We focus on these items to drive the project to success.
